Observation

After more than 50 years of being eligible to vote in Canada (Manitoba) most of the talking points during an election campaign are symptoms… Not the actual problem. Issues related to Education, unemployment, healthcare, daycare, inflation, and many others are indicators that people are not confident in the economy and/or the country’s leadership. If people are not confident in the economic policies … not the least of which i:nclude agriculture and natural resources, they won’t spend their money. That Directly relates to job and business opportunities and availability.
From my observation I would recommend you DON’T vote for the party that says “we will create more jobs…” . Rather, vote for the party that says “…we will give YOU incentive to create more jobs…” this is most likely to be the party that puts greater emphasis on the economic balances of the country. Then the reality of most of the talking points will greatly diminish.
