3 legged dog roaming BU area

Good day
We had a 3 legged dog roaming the back lane on 22nd street , Lorne &Louise area , BU.
Dog is black , lots of Grey around muzzle, 3 legs, collar no tag. Seemed friendly.
Tried to keep him around but took off. He made his way to WMCA. That's the last we saw him.
Hoping he makes his way home.
