How would Brandon handle a pandemic?

We're starting to see the dreaded 'P' word used more and more often today in association with the potential of the strain of swine flu that's appeared in Mexico and the Southern US. The last pandemic was in 1968, with them normally occuring every 30-40 years. Because of that we've been warned that the likelyhood of a new pandemic is much higher at present day.
It gets one to thinking...
how would we handle a pandemic locally if one were to break out (whether this is it- which it hopefully isn't- or whether one breaks out in the coming years)?
If things were to ever get to the point of effecting Brandon, we would no doubt be surrounded by other regions dealing with the same problem.. but are we prepared and have you personally given thought to how you would deal with such a situation? Can you see yourself changing how you live your everyday life in any way?
