Ok so I haven't really weighed in on any of the previous threads about Brandon drivers. This is mainly due to the fact that it infuriates me to the point that if I get on my "high horse" I'll find it hard to get off! lol.....  
 
But hey it's late and I have nothing better to do so here it goes........  
 
There have been too many times... more times than I can count that I have kinda stopped in thought whilst driving and just been baffled by what has just transpired on the road either in front of me, behind me or to either side of me.  
 
Here are a couple of examples that spring to mind........  
 
I was at the intersection of 13th and Park where there is a 4-way stop just 2 days ago late afternoon. It was my turn to go and I was about to turn left from 13th onto park heading towards 18th St. There was a guy on a mobility scooter who was waiting to cross just next to cyber junkies on the corner. So I held back to wait for the guy to cross. There was an older lady in a black SUV who got to the stop sign after me who was on park heading west towards 18th who as the guy on the mobility scooter got halfway across the road decided she didn't want to wait and just drove on through. Causing the man on the mobility scooter to swerve to the side to avoid being hit. The lady never stopped nor did she slow down she just continued on like he wasn't there....... she had to have seen him. I was disgusted!!

Again STOP SIGNS........  
 
I was near super store on Mctavish just between 7th and 8th there is a stop sign on 8th (not a 4-way) People often stop on Mctavish unnecessarily thinking its a 4-way however one day I was driving along with the wife and kids in the car and some lady came out of super store car park and onto 8th and come barreling towards the stop sign, she didnt stop, just drove right through it. I had to slam my brakes on to avoid t-boning her scaring the kids,the wife and to be honest myself in the process. the woman kept driving, didn't even slow down even after banging on my horn she didn't even turn her head to acknowledge me she KNEW she had done wrong. I guess some people just figure if they don't look your way then they can pretend like they don't know they did wrong  
 
People who come speeding down the outside lane on 18th street to get 2 cars ahead of you to beat you onto the 18th street bridge annoy me but not nearly as much as the people who slam their breaks on to let them in which has caused numerous accidents in the past.  
 
Not many people here are courteous on the roads either. By courteous I dont mean the example above..... slamming on the anchors to let an impatient speeding motorist get 1 or 2 cars ahead of you. I am talking about someone waiting on a side street to get on to a busy road like 18th and not one person slows to let them in. A good example of this somewhere like college and 18th. I have been frustrated at times when I am waiting to get onto 18th and the lights are red at park and 18th and rather then someone slowing down to let you in, because lets face it they aren't going to get any further untill the lights change they will pull right up and block the intersection and then again like i described before. they sit there staring straight ahead KNOWING you are gazing a hole through them for being SOOOOO inconsiderate.  
 
Gosh I could continue on for hours about this but i'm sure you all know what i'm talking about. As I am sure most people have experienced this first hand. I am also pretty sure that there is going to be someone who is going to tell me to stop complaining and that if I don't like it to move, well sorry but it's just not that easy. I have a great Job that I love and on the whole I like Brandon. I just wish some drivers would WISE UP!!!  
 
I know this has been talked about time and time again but I just wanted to rant!
