Federal funding announced.

The agitating of certain citizens of Brandon who have been saying that our Airport is Sub-standard, and it needs an upgrade has moved the Gods of Ottawa. Our Federal representative has used his influence and secured funding to bring up the Instrument Landing System at the Airport to a standard used in the Twenty First Century. Mr. Tweed, and Mayor Dave are elated with the announcement stating that it should put Brandon in a position to compete with other communities to receive suitable airline service, and improve the safety functions of the Airport.
