I drive a taxi for ABC, and at 10:00am had to take a detour, because of the construction on 10th Street. The city did not post any detour signs, nor was the route checked by city engineers. And when I came to 11th and College, was struck by another vehicle. The driver of that vehicle was driving under suspension. And the stop sign at the intersection was removed by vandals.  
The city is lacking in road safety, and construction is not putting up detour signs, and checking to see if these routes are safe.  
I would like to know how long this sign has been missing. Brandon Police has a reputation of ignoring reports of this kind. I have on many occassions reported intersections iced with no sand. And gone back the next day to see it is still icy. Yet I have been scolded for sliding thru intersections that are icy.  
And why are suspended drivers allowed to drive. I think that if they don't deal with their suspensions, then their vehicle should be impounded.
