Looking for work in Brandon...
9/28/2009 at 2:30 PM
Well if you are looking for employment opportunities in Brandon for the moment or want to get ready for another busy winter season, I would like to let everyone know about an event coming up this week.
Career & Employment Youth Services (CEYS) will be hosting the 10th Annual Christmas Help Round-up in partnership with the Shopper’s Mall and local business community.
Opportunities to apply into entry-level positions within the job market are exciting with over 30+ registered businesses and 130+ positions to be filled for the approaching season. Job seekers who are interested in working during the approaching season may apply on Wednesday, September 30 and Thursday, October 1, 2009, 9:30 AM – 9:00 PM at the Shopper’s Mall.
While some of the positions are Christmas terms, many other businesses are looking for permanent, part time and full time employees to start immediately.
The Christmas Help Roundup is a win-win situation, providing applicants with a clear direction of how and when to apply for work while providing employers with the convenience of receiving applications at one time for short listing and interview purposes.
Job seekers are encouraged to bring several copies of their resume, as there are positions available in numerous businesses and in various departments.
During last year’s event at the Shopper’s Mall there were 320 applicants over the 2-day event.
Don't miss out on a one-stop shop for getting your resumes handed in for great working opportunities.
Wednesday September 30th
and Thursday October 1st from 9:30 AM - 9:00 PM
at the Centre Court in the Shopper's Mall
Hope to see you there!!
