If you were at the game last night you may have witnessed that crocusplainsmen jv team lost against vincent massey. The boys played with lots of heart and effort but unfortunately lost. To my understanding the the whole front line for vincent massey was senior players. My thought is that no matter what our jv's should play and not seniors and no matter what team. How fair is for seniors to beat rookies who have been playing for a few years against the kids starting out. I think us as parent's neede to speak out and the coaches know how we feel. After we are paying for our kids to play on the jv teams and not for the seniors. I think some coaches need to realize that winning is not main object here but the child's self esteem an d so forth.Kudos to the kids on crocus for playiong with such enthusiam and heart and for the coaches never giving up on them. We will get them next year.
