Brandon Fire Rescue House??

Winnipeg is just doing final touches on a Fire Rescue House for families that lose their homes to fire. Its a temp solution until they find somewhere else to live. This fire house is the first of its kind in Canada.
Question is...why doesn't Brandon do something like this??
