Mall Dynamics..Bored and lonely people

Mall Dynamics.
Men (married or not..young or old)
Hanging around the mall looking for an ear to listen, killing time. Deer in headlights. Having coffee with the boys or waiting for their lady to finish shopping. The mall is loaded with them and they will kill time no matter what. (They never venture into a store to shop, heaven forbid)
Women (married or not...young or old)
Always scurrying around, getting things done, no time to chat as much..SO much to get accomplished and just want to get home and out of the Mall.
Why aren't these married men accompanying their wives in grocery shopping? and why are bored, widowed men hanging around the mall 24-7 looking for someone to talk with? Or sleeping in the car while little woman shops? That drives me crazy.
Get a hobby. Get a life, even if you are widowed or waiting.
I just don't understand. I am a mall worker and don't get these guys, generally older and widowed. They can be so sad looking.
Do carpentry or small fix-its, go for a walk, do volunteer work. I know you need a social life, but there are so many places that would love your help and you can meet new people this way. Think and do like most women do and pour your interests into something worthwhile.
On the other hand, the Mall is warm and safe and has coffee, but I just don't get why anyone needs to just "Hang out at the Mall" everyday, allday.
Thanks for the vent.
