Crayon on clothing - help!

Normally I'm pretty good about checking my son's pockets before tossing his clothes in the washer but wouldn't you know it, the one time I forget there is a red crayon in there that manages to make it through the wash, rinse, and dryer cycles. As you can imagine, it did not survive the dryer cycle and now there is red crayon all over every article of clothing that was in there with it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get melted, dried crayon out of clothing?
