Re: The number of break-ins, attempted break-ins in Brandon, crime, etc.

I am wondering why businesses throughout Brandon do not have cameras inside and outside their premises: security systems, alarms, etc.?
I find it really unsettling that some of us appear to be sitting ducks time and time and time again, for opportunists who may be travelling through our city, live here, etc.
I REALLY think that we should do WHATEVER WE NEED TO DO to be WAY MORE PROACTIVE within Brandon regarding thefts, break and enters, vandalism, etc.
IF this is the new reality around the world, then I think that we need to step up to the plate, here within Brandon, as well.
I emailed the Chamber of Commerce and I asked them to host a Security Conference or something to offer to the businesses within Brandon and Westman.
I think that Counsellor Murray Blight also sells Security Systems or is involved in this in some way.
Chamber of Commerce, Brandon City Police, Crime Stoppers or someone in Brandon, could you please organize this Conference for our Brandon businesses and all those in Westman who might be interested in securing their premises MORE EFFECTIVELY.
I just really dislike that SO MANY INDIVIDUALS are getting away with ALL MANNERS of crimes within our city limits.
You could call it a Security Conference, etc.
Could we get something going here toute suite within this New Year?
I would REALLY LIKE to see this happen for ALL Brandon residents who might be interested.
Could there be MORE TIPS OR ADVERTISING within The Brandon Sun, Wheat City Journal, on our local radio stations, here on eBrandon, etc. for businesses and homeowners regarding securing their premises and/or property more efficiently and effectively?
I would REALLY like to see a Security Conference within Brandon in this New Year.
What are the latest devices, options, etc. available to us?
Let's invite a number of Security Companies within Brandon to attend and host this Conference.
What could they offer us? Let's see, hear and then compare what services they offer.
