One of the really good things about winter in Brandon..... Are these people using their heads? Flooding??? It's -28C right now, could they not base this decision on the weather and not the calendar!?!!

It’s lights off for Brandon’s Hydro Powersmart Waterfall of Lights after this weekend.
Effective Monday, the dazzling display of lights at Canada Games Park will be turned off for the season to avoid the potential problems associated with possible flooding.
The skating oval and trails, however, will remain open as the weather dictates for the remainder of the winter.
