I like to think of myself as a courteous driver. I yield right of way to pedestrians especially when it is cold/rainy etc. This morning as I was driving to work I was headed east on Vic and approaching the light at 8th and Vic. There was a man, perhaps 40ish, crossing Vic against the light and was in the median area waiting for his chance to finish crossing. As I approached the intersection he stepped off the median and attempted to continue crossing. I slowed a bit to make sure he wasn't going to dart out in front of me and proceeded through my green light. He gave me a disgusted look and then gave me the finger for not stopping and letting him cross. HUH????? After I cleared the intersection he ran across the rest of the street just narrowly missing being hit by the car that was a few lengths behind me. Some people continue to amaze me with their stupidity.
