really loud bang today at 1215

Okay, not meaning to be nosy or a weirdo or anything.... but I was in the parking lot of Canadian Tire/ Staples today at 1215 and heard a really loud bang which sounded like a gunshot. Did anyone else hear it? Was there any reports of a gun being fired in Brandon today? Not wanting to sound alarmist, just curious.
