I miss so much about our City from past. It's not the City's fault, but just the way things are nowadays.
I just picked up a couple of Teenburgers through a drive-thru with an anonymous voice, a $10 touch and wandering off in a sad, decrepit old parking lot to eat my stash.
They tasted fine, but I am quite sure they tasted better to me as a kid being brought to the car on Victoria Avenue from a carhop, with a car tray, tall frosty mugs (no diet root beer then) and just being a very special, special treat.
Those were the days when downtown Brandon was hopping, there was little crime, and a family's treat was a jaunt to A & W for a burger on a special night.
I just feel so sad for those old days of Brandon. LOL..maybe I am the only one.
