I decided to go out pledging last night after school with one of my friends.I began to get a little discouraged after the the first block.I knock or rang the doorbell and politely said "Hi I am out pledging for relay for life its a walk for cancer in honor of my friend who had leukemia. Its June 4 at the River Bank Discovery Center".I was shocked to what was going to happen next people actually laughed at me.Thats fine if you dont want to donate but the least you can do is say it politely. Is it because I'm a teenager if so shame on you. Just because you hear about teens doing bad things doesn't mean were all bad. I even had all the papers there with me showing I'm apart of it, it's not like I was standing there with nothing asking for a donation. Even some busisness laughed. Thank you to the person who gave me four dollars yesterday.
