I was wondering if anyone saw the young guy on the #1 highway yesterday(we were travelling west from winnipeg and he was around rd75), early evening jumping in front of semi's and cars? We called the RCMP and they told us others had as well. He had what looked like a jug of oil in one hand ( i didn't see any broken down cars around) and something else in the other hand, and it looked like he was trying to play chicken with the traffic (maybe intoxicated). My sister called right after we almost hit him (I was in the passing lane and slowed a bit) and he tried to jump infront of my car, and i seen a semi and several other cars with near misses. He was just walking back and forth across the highway, and then jumping in front of cars when they drove by. I wanted to stop, but the expression on his face was really scary and I had two pregnant women with me. So basically i am wondering if anyone heard or knows where i might be able to find out what happend.
