I'm curious if anyone knows anything about the Aaron's Furniture truck that's been parked in the old 18th St Shoppers Drug Mart lot for most of the last approx two weeks.  
 
The sign in the window of the old SDM building still indicates that the building is available, but maybe it's just big enough for a smallish furniture/electronics store? or maybe there's a simpler explanation for their truck being parked in such a visible place for so long when their closest location is 6 hours away in Saskatoon?  
 
There's a website address on the truck, and when you visit it it appears that Aaron's is a pretty big deal in the North American home furniture/electronics business with locations in every prairie province except for Manitoba and apparently 1700+ locations in total.  
 
EDIT: Closest *Canadian* location is Saskatoon. Looks like they're all over North Dakota... Minot, Bismarck, Fargo, GF, Jamestown
