Recently I was telling my daugher about Wheelies, a fun roller rink hang out that used to be one of the biggest teen hotspots in town. This sparked a big discussion about how there is nothing for teens to do around here - no hang outs where they can DO something... And then they wonder why kids get into trouble.  
 
Right now the best hang outs for teens are:  
 
- Thunderbird Bowl - for bowling. Relatively inexpensive and a great hang out place...  
 
- Capitol Theater - for movies. Quite expensive and not really a good regular, social hang out.  
 
- Ambush Outdoor Paintball - a little costly, a fun evening, not really a regular hang out place.  
 
- Brandon Sportsplex - swimming, skating and squash. Not a bad hang out place.  
 
- Mort's Mini Golf - mini golf is fairly inexpensive. They have go carts which are a bit more expensive. Fun for a night but not really a hang out.  
 
- Highland Miniature Golf - mini golf, climbing wall, basket ball hoops for single shooters. Not sure about prices here.  
 
Honestly, I know as a kid the times we got into trouble are the times we had nothing better to do and found our own entertainment. I think Brandon would seriously benefit from offering more for this age group to do - where they can have fun, hang out and not spend a fortunte enjoying themselves!  
 
Does anyone know of any other fun places/things for teens to do in town???
