What's in the name?

Well I am using the name Striped Woman. Several years ago, I was in an ojibway naming ceremony, when the Elder told me what my name was. I thought he meant "striped woman" when I asked him if this was correct, he said no this is what your name means. So it turned out to be a totally different name and the Elder and I laughed about the misinterpretation so I thought it would be a nice name to use in honor of him.
