Mudjacking vs. replacing concrete

The sidewalk leading up to our house has sunken to one side. I have been debating between mudjacking and replacing the sidewalk. Although mudjacking is cheaper, I have heard that the sidewalk might continue sinking if the base is not proper.
Anyone out there has had mudjacking done? What was your experience?
