Avoid 18th North at all costs this aft (Friday)

Just a heads up that construction work at the intersection of 18th and Kirkaldy is causing as bad of traffic backup as you'll see this afternoon. As of about 10 mins ago, the slower speed that cars are being asked to travel through the intersection at is causing backup all the way to Victoria, comparable to what it would be like if there was an accident. I'm sure they're working as fast as they can and hopefully it thins out once everyone gets to work but I'd strongly suggest avoiding all of 18th North for at least the next hour or two.
