New car dealerships

So, I just went out and bought a new car, first brand new car I have ever owned. I had purchased the undercoating, paint guard as well as the leather protection as I would like it to last. Well after about a week of having the car, I had noticed a few spots, more line lines of something sticky on the paint which were black, not knowing what it was, I was just going to get some tar & bug remover and get rid of it. After some time at looking at it, I figured out what it was, it was the lines where they have the white sticky stuff applied to the car to prevent stone chips while transfering it to the dealerships on the transfer trucks. I am thinking that if this sticky stuff remained on the car, what are the chances of the paint protection being applied to my car without it being totally clean. Would a person go into the dealership with a calm head and discuss it, or go in with guns blazing, as they knew they didn't do it, but still charged me
