It's might be hard to believe, but our civic election is a little more than 5 1/2 weeks away on October 27.  
 
While having city boulevards loaded with candidate signs can be a polarizing topic, I can't help but notice the lack of almost anything so far be it for the potentially competitive Mayoral race or the council races that have more than one candidate competing for a position.  
 
One school of thought might say that it's good to keep our boulevards clean for as long as possible, another might suggest that it's a little surprising to not already have the all-too-important battle for name recognition kicking into high gear.  
 
What are your thoughts, as well as your opinion on election signs in general and their importance (or lack thereof) to the modern campaign?
