Great Canadian Oil Change confirmed building on 18th

There have been some rumours going around regarding the local oil change business in recent days and what was suggested (incorrectly) to be a relocation of a current oil change business.
There was however a kernel of truth to the rumour. I've been told this evening by a very good source that the current lot being developed on the East side of the 800 blk of 18th street will in fact be a new entry into the local marketplace, a Great Canadian Oil Change franchise. Planned opening date is Januray 2011. The franchisee is Mike Blair, who for the last several years has been managing another local oil change business.
Contrary to any rumour, there is no information to indicate that this will result in the closure of any other business
