Spider we found!

Saturday afternoon, the kids and I were out playing in our yard up at Glendale Homes Park. We came across a big nasty spider, so my husband collected it in a jar and brought it in and started googling it...he thinks it is a hobo spider, which I think is a relative to the black widow spider...We were just wondering if there was anyone/any where we could take it to get it looked at to comfirm our "research" on it...and if it is what we think, what do we do with it...kill it?!
