Did anyone else read the article in today's Brandon Sun quoting a conflic of interest between Mayor Burgess and Kirk Brugger.  
 
It was an interesting article, basically the jist of it goes like this...Kirk Brugger was one of many to sign Dave Burgess's nomination papers. He is also a part of Burgess's re-election volunteer campaign fundraising team.  
 
Mayor Burgess doesn't think this poses any problems or conflict of interest.  
 
What does everyone else think? I personally think if he had nothing to hide he should have been up front about all personal relationships with any of the bidders. Certainly just makes him look badly.  
 
I suppose until proven otherwise it's just a potential conflict of interest.I hope this post isn't removed again entirely. I'm not sure what is wrong with it as it is real news on the brandonsun.com and I'm not stating any wrong facts.
