Women duped by feminist movement
11/5/2010 at 1:30 PM
Post WWII Harry Truman coined the term "under-developed country". Country's were categorized based on per/capital income. A world race began to become the world economic power and a the west wanted it bad.
The fastest way was to bring more women into the work force, therefore bringing up the income per person. Women had to change a belief system and move toward a trend of empowerment.
Funny thing now is women work harder than ever before. Balancing job and family must be difficult. Men might be in some cases running after the kids more, preparing meals, bringing kids to swimming lessons, soccer practise and the like but women are still doing all this plus working to contribute income.
Men on average work less hours than ever. Have more time to golf, video games, beers with buddies.
So I thank the feminist movement cause now I have more fun, less stress and a greater relationship with my kids. That being compared to the working men of the past century.
