i need help with EI

i am looking for some help dealing with Employment Insurance...heres the story...
i was living approx. an hour and 15 mins away and working at a full time job. my bf lives and works in brandon. we decided to move in together and that i would move to brandon as he has a house and i was renting. i gave notice to my workplace and to my landlord. this was in sept. i applied to a handful of jobs but wasnt worried about having one set in place as i thought with brandon being a semi big place it wouldnt be hard to find work. i was done work sept 24 and had to be out of my apartment by the end of sept. i still did not have a job. i moved to brandon and applied for EI right away as i was told that it can take awhile to process. i continued to apply for jobs but have had no luck. i was then contacted by EI and told that i didnt qualify for benefits bc they didnt think that quitting my job voluntarily was my only option. i have 30 days to appeal their decision.
i just dont understand why they would deny it?? commuting 2 and a half hours everyday doesnt make sense. i moved to live with my bf to continue our life together. i was told that bc i moved i should qualify for benefits...and this was from someone who had the same situation as me and was given benefits. i dont understand how they decide who does and doesnt get benefits. epecially if its the same situation.
so my question is...should i appeal the decision? i have applied for well over 25 jobs in all different areas of work. its not like i just moved here to receive benefits. i am actively looking for work but unfortunatly have not found anything and i still have bills to pay. its very stressfull and depressing to not have a job or money to pay for things. i have been forced to borrow money from my bf, friends and family. what should i do?
