So i need to rant! lol.. my hubby was in an accident the other day. He did end up getting the ticket and we got a call the other day from mpi and said that he's at fault. the thing that bugs me is he was stuck on ice when the young punk was coming way to fast from the other direction and wrapped his rear passenger side around my front end. then my hubby got out of the car and the young punk moved his car into a parking lot and said he didn't want to get out of the car because he was wearing shorts. so my hubby had no choice but to go to the police station and make a report, onto of it i called the kid to make sure he was going to the police station and he went like 40 minutes after the accident?? i know they have so long to report it but come on get your but there and make the report.. but what really really bothers me it's my insurance and because the punk moved his car and they made the report at the station it is now word vs word to the cops and mpi. the cops should of came down to the seen to see that he was stuck on ice and didn't fail to yeild (that is what they gave him the ticket for). I don't feel i should be responsible for the deductible (it's my name on the insurance/my car) the kid was going so fast that he spun like there was no tomorrow and stopped hitting my car with his rear passenger.. if the cops came and saw how the vehicles were they would of been able to see if he was speeding and not watchin for other traffic he would of been able to stop.. but spinning right around a couple of times would of been speeding.. i want to fight it but i'm unsure where to start?? could someone pm me with a solution? thx
