Bridge Repairs On Highway 250

The Highways Dept. is closing the bridge crossing the Assiniboine River on highway 250 north of Alexander for repairs for three months.Any money being spent on repairing this bridge is a complete waste. It desperately needs to be completely replaced with a new one like the bridge on highway 21 south of Sioux Valley Reserve.They are going to spend a rediculous amount of money and time repairing a bridge that is too low, narrow and sub-standard for current needs. It is dangerous.Don't inconvenience taxpayers and waste their money trying to fix this bridge, replace it !!! If anyone is bored go for a drive, you can see for yourself. Nobody ever says anything until it is too late. The province will complain no money but this essential service I imagine is more important than a new BOMBER STADIUM.
