Big Cat Spotted In Brandon

My mom spotted at big cat in the back alley near my house which is on the 400 block of 12th street. The cat was about 60cm tall - give or take - and had a light coloured coat. He sat and stared at my dogs and when they barked at it, the cat just went about his business and casually walked away.
Has anyone else seen anything like this?
