I see that council passed a bylaw making it "illegal to carry large knives or wear them on your person", according to the Brandon Sun. A wondrous over-reaction to a couple of incidents.
I bet all of those evildoers tempted to do violence with things sharp and pointy have been stopped dead in their tracks by council's bold and resolute action.
Can council pander any more to lo0cal hysteria than this?
