Is anyone else out there as frustrated with those “Yard Waste” dumpsters as I am?  
 
These bins are just simply not dumped frequently enough.  
 
This time of the year... on a nice weekend like this one, everybody out trying to get their yard work done, those dumpsters need to be emptied every 2 hours at the very least.  
 
I live in Green Acers and use, or perhaps I should say “try” to use the depot at 1st & Richmond. I’d say that maybe once out of every 4-5 trips down there this weekend I was able to dump my 4 bags of leaves. The rest of the time all 3 dumpsters were packed full & overflowing and you couldn’t get near them because other people had just piled their bags in front of the dumpsters. This is typical for most weekends, especially in the spring & fall.  
 
The city wants us to recycle. They also don’t want us to put yard waste in the back lane dumpsters. In order for this to work we need to see way better service from the city in terms of getting these dumpsters emptied.
