Just saw police escorting a cowboy riding his horse through town, anyone know what he is riding for?

It is a veteran riding across Canada on horseback. I read about it somewhere, i think Brandon Sun? I forget why he is riding though.

Paul Nicholls, a military veteran from BC, is riding across canada to raise awareness for PTSD, Suicide and the family strife in the military.  

I was very surprised that a handful of people showed up at the corner of 11th st and victoria ave. Alot of people driving by paul and not even honking in support of what this fine veteran is doing. He is making all Canadians aware of the issues facing veterans across this great country. He has great support from his wife, Terry and the rest of his crew of 4. Even a young gentleman from Switzerland who was a farm hand at Paul and Terry's ranch has volunteered to travel across this country, supporting Paul's journey. I am hoping many come out tomorrow to Shilo and listen to Paul's story and shake his hand. Let's support Paul and his crew.

Maybe there hasn't been much advertising hence the small crowd. I won't be at Shilo tomorrow but good luck on the rest of his journey.

I wish I knew about this. Big time supporter of this cause! Yay, Paul!

Maybe people are not honking at Paul because it its PTSD maybe the sudden loud noise might scare him. Or if his horse is not accustomed to being in the city, they don't want to spook the horse and risk Paul getting thrown...or worse! I support what he is doing 100% and hope he has a safe journey!

I didn't honk. It would be silly to do so. Spook the horse and throw the poor guy off.

he was riding on his horse very slow if I were him the sound of honking a lot will be annoying to hear and probably to others around.

Big thanks to Paul for helping to bring awareness to these issues. Some of the replies on this thread go to show why people need to be educated on the subjects.
