Yesterday Star FM had on their facebook page that according to gasbuddy the price of gas was going to rise 5 cents a litre in Brandon i checked gasbuddy and Winnipeg is currently 94.9 to 97.9 Portage 95.9 to 97.9 and Dauphin is 98.9 we sit at 103.9 it will be interesting to see if Winnipeg goes up like they say how long it will take Brandon to follow them up because we obviously did not follow them down

on Tuesday the gas in Winnipeg was 97.3 I believe

Heard the story yesterday and checked some of the business news wires that are related to energy, funny there was no mention of the refinery problems or shortage of gas. Gasoline futures have had quite a range today but last I checked they were on the downside, they have made a bit of a bounce in the last little while but are lower now than earlier in the year. Just more media hype to justify prices that might be a bit high, the lower Canadian dollar is playing a bit of a part in our prices since North American prices are sort of set on the American price.

Just as an aside, reminder that with a recent change gas-related threads on eBrandon like this one have auto-embedded Gas Buddy price data in the right-hand column as well as provincial and national price trends. As of now, no 5 cent jump anywhere in Brandon. 103.9 everywhere except two North Hill stations (Esso, Domo) at 106.9. Also no 5 cent rising trend showing provincially or nationally just yet.

At superstore in Wpg yesterday. I didn't stop, just saw the sign. I would guess that includes the superstore credit you get?

I think the process to produce fuel should be turned over to Budweiser Brewing....I have toured the brewery in St. Louis, and very clean, efficiently run, modern production facility with adequate storage facilities to provide a reserve supply, AND I have never seen a shortage of beer!!

The prices may be a little harder to find but they are still out there, and are available throught kentreports.com, and just for the record on the home page for this site it states that funding for this group is from the federal government. Right now looking at the rack price of regular gas across Canada we have an average price of 59.2 cents a litre as off sept 15, which is high if compared to the average rack price of 46.8 cents per litre seen for the week ending Jan. 20th. 2015. Are we being gouged, well more than likely, but I don't believe that it's being hidden by our government.

Petro Canada and Shell are up to 110.9 Mohawk and Superstore were still 103.9 not sure about the others

Shell at 18th and Brandon Ave was 1.109/L when we came home from the theatre. I think Cdn Tire was still at 1.039/L.
