entirely correct. Last lunar eclipse till 2018. The combination of really close Moon and lunar eclipse is what won't be till 2033.

Trevor here are the facts  
"this is a total eclipse of a super-harvest-blood-moon. It hasn't happened in 33 years, and it won't occur again for another 18."

just clarifing your original post so people won't think there won't any eclipses till 2033. Because you didn't.  
 
And BTW I'm currently atop McMaster Hall photographing and observing the eclipse through a 10" telescope.

I don't see much difference in size or colour compared to other eclipses. The difference in size is fractional.

clarify, this is the last total eclipse till Jan 31, 2018. There will a couple penumbral eclise's in 2016, another in 2017 that will be visible to us.

I was outside after three and the moon was super bright and cast big shadows!

The term 'Supermoon' has been used in the news and media lots over the past couple year. But the term that was created in 1979 is modern astrological, not astronomical. The proper astronomical term is perigee-syzygy of the Earth-Moon-Sun system. While the opposite is agogee-syzygy.

Why we need to know about myths and the truth.  
The scientific explanation of the red colour is interesting.  
Red is the colour of the light from the sun that makes through  
the atmosphere of the Earth while the other colours glance off  
into space, leaving only red shining on the moon while it passes  
through the shadow cast by the Earth.  
 
Nothing weird, Religious, Pagan or mystical. Straight Physics.
