Weird accident last night. north end

Coming home on Pacific last night and saw lots of emergency lights flashing north of the tracks at that big yellow warehouse. It looks like a big truck smashed a hole in an exterior cinder block wall. It looked like it smashed it from the inside.

myself the same thing, what happened? I live just down the street from this, police and the fire department all over this. Later lots of manitoba hydro working away, maybe later today in the police report we might get to find out.

To me upon seeing this thread that the driver missed the turn. He was not inside the building backing up. So keep an eye on the road at all times.

He should've hit the 8th street bridge instead. Too bad, that kind of bonehead truck driver in the North end could of helped finish off the cities debate over what to do with that structure. LOL Oh well, there's always the next one. The insurance company would have helped pay the city to take it down. You all know that this is just a cynical joke, right?

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

I believe the building is the one on 14th st N. that had a truck drive through the wall. If I'm not mistaken, it could be the building that "Persnickity " was located in. The owner was a cabinet/ furniture maker and may have still been using the building. I am not positive about that, but I believe that is the building.

Said in the paper it's J&M Windows storage. And it's Assiniboine Ave, not Pacific?
