Yes, good customer service and no limit. Speed is not bad and I heard they are upgrading their equipment.

They are good. The business I worked for used them.

They are very good with customer service quick to answer any concerns you have. Fairly reliable service sometimes kicks in and out on bad weather ( but so does everything). Prices are what I would call expensive ( again so is all other ISP's). I wish they offered fibre optics out in the country.

I recently switched and couldn't be happier. They are cheaper and provide faster internet speed. They are have unlimited data which netset does not.

Thank you for all the replies! This is what I needed to hear and I'm hoping a lot of others who need to know there are alternatives in this area.

Wow not sure who everyone else talks to but ive never had good customer service....  
 
On the other hand the service is fast and reliable. I can only think of once its been down. They dont have a limit you can use

we have been customers for over 8 years. no other options is the main reason we chose them. dial up was a bit slow out in the country.  
 
Not sure you really want them to have fibre op in the country. I priced it out in the town of Virden and OMG you want pricey that is it for sure. I could see a family or a business paying it but I was looking for my mother in law. not a chance in he double hockey sticks was that the way to go there.

I want fiber optics for this reason:  
 
100mbps upload and download with fiber. Cost is $129.95/month. I have the "faster" package, 12mbps download and 5 upload for $149.95. Do math......and thats your answer.

Fibre optic is faster and cheaper monthly but it has a $500 install fee so unless you're using it for years it will cost you more overall. But I'm still thinking about it but only because the speed I have with them now isn't consistent. It dips constantly.  
 
Customer service always gets back to me but never seems able to fix the problem.

Yeah I hear ya on the speed dips. Seems like the last couple weeks around that 830-9 pm range for about 30 mins to an hour it will slow down. I went to speedtest.com and instead of 12 and 5 I was at 1 and .05 lol. Makes things....interesting if you do gaming. For me if all it cost was $500 to install it, I'd do it in a heartbeat but the closest connection for me is Virden and I'm 15 miles away. I don't think they would do it for $500 sadly.

I hear ya. Gaming can be pretty hard sometimes.

We pay so much for net set and still go over half the time, its awful, I would love another option.

as far as I know, it will go maybe to the hill on highway 10. Gotta have a great view to the hydro power plant-area for that to work. if you can see the smokestack, it's worthwhile to call. they can tell fairly accurately over the phone.

We also live south of Brandon...and have NetSet and run into the same issues as you. Maybe if enough of us call RFNow they will start thinking about putting up a tower in our area. I also know of a few of our neighbours who are also not happy that we cant get unlimited and the price....I will be calling on Monday again!  

its not like you have to many options  
dependent on what you wanna use them for  
anything over 5MB , your choices are RFNOW or Netsat

is how it works, they base their expansion plans on which area locals make the most noise.  
The call is free, you've got nothing to lose, and much to gain from making that call.

RFNow is a no for me. Anyone have any suggestions for me other than NetSet?
