Number calls average five times a day, every day, about three weeks now. No one at the other end, always a hang up. Any one else have this annoyance?

I use to get these on my old cell phone number, the person who had the number before me left a bunch of debt, even after telling several people who had called that it wasn't their phone anymore. Then they started several times daily with a recorded message and were calling me at 6 in the morning. I changed companies for my cell and insisted on a number that would be clear of them.

debt collector?

I see that it is from a debt collection agency when I google - it didn't show up when I did a reverse number search before. Thank you. But shouldn't a debt collector say something, ask for whoever they are trying to reach? There is never anyone on the other line, it is always a hang up.

keeps calling people and some calls will get hung up if they call more numbers than reps are available to talk. If you call the number its say who they are

Answer it but dont say anything and start pushing the number 9 over and over and over none stop a dozen times.
Im not sure why but it works. The auto caller computer must think its a disconnected line. its worked for me!

and tell them that you are the owner of that phone number now. It is annoying when they bother you all the time for someone else's problems!!!!
