I started buying applesauce, pudding cups and baby cookies for the young ones. If they're going to get dragged around in the cold they might as well get a treat they can eat
OP, I am expecting there will be more out this year but I expect around the same number at our place. Only 10-15 Edited by sammy, 2015-10-28 13:01:40" |

thanx sammy, never thought of that!
I too don't get many kids maybe 20. Must have something to do with the cheap neighborhood I live in....when the kids look down the street and only see 3 or 4 lights on, they just move to the next one. Really too bad cause I really like to see the kids out. " |

One year I ended up giving pudding cups to a group of older kids (about 8-10 years) and as I closed the door I heard them yelling to their parents excitedly, "we got pudding!!" Who would have guessed it was such a cool treat lol
We live on a street that has hardly any lit up houses on Halloween too

The few that we do get are on their way to the bays behind us I think. Although, this year we have had some new families move onto the street and some town houses were built not too far from us so maybe the numbers will be up this year!!
