Somebody I know had somebody solicit them at home claiming to be from MTS. He offered them a deal on home internet etc.... when pressed whether they could get the same deal if they called MTS he back pedaled and said that he was from a different subsidiary. It sounds a tad fishy to me. Did anyone else have an MTS representative (legit or otherwise)come to their home?

But 2 Saturday's ago in Carberry I had a gentleman at my door saying he knew we already had services with MTS and he could offer me a great deal on total Internet (which we already have) and when I mentioned that he switched his pitch and said we could add cable for cheap of we wanted to try it for a couple months at the introductory rate. We told him no we're happy with what we have and shut the door and he went on his way. Can't say if he was legit or not he kind of knew what we had/didn't have with Mts for services but he did have a name tag and jacket on and a binder with mts on it.

About every other month, somebody been letting a person from MTS into my apartment. It does sound suspicious if you are already a MTS customer for phone, tv and internet. The person didn't try to upsell me in trying to get upgrade my internet speed or get a cell phone.

Had a guy come by tonight. Told him I wanted a brochure with the promo he offered me, he said he doesn't have any but I could book the installation and they would give me all the information. Told him I wanted time to think about it and he said ok and left. I guess you can only get the deal if you sign up immediately. Also weird that he knew I was a Westman customer with tv and Internet and knew the speeds I have and what I pay. Not a good feeling to say the least.

Call myself to see if they have people soliciting door to door. They should be able to answer that for you.
