Hi there with the holiday seasons coming up, does anybody know of any cheap mailing companies to send parcels from Brandon to the UK. I tried to use air Canada a few months ago and the shipping was going to cost more than the gift inside!

Any info ips would be great!

Try FedEx, I have used their services before.
Call them on their 0800 463 3339 number and they will tell you where to drop your parcel.
Usually Staple's store.

You should consider buying the presents from a UK online company and having them shipped within the UK.

I use Amazon.co.uk and have always been satisfied with the service. Canada Post as an alternative but if it's a heavy gift be prepared to write a big cheque even for surface post.

Hi thanks for the reply.
I have previously purchased items from uk websites however they do not sell the same personal touch gifts that Canada has to offer.

There is things here that I would like to send like, maple syrup, Canadian souvenirs etc.

But you need to mail it by Oct 25th at the very latest for surface mail which is the cheapest. I sent 3 parcels this year and they were all around the $20 mark. I've looked at others and even had a voucher for Purolator but Canada Post was still cheaper.
