As you may have noticed, our time and temperature sign has been shut off for the past month or so due to its inability to keep proper time. We've been trying to get it fixed but it is not looking good. So we thought we'd see what the community has to say. Is it worth it to put up a new sign? Does anyone miss it being there?

ill say id personally love to see it working again, is a landmark that i drive by alot (as i live close) ..... im sure is not needed as we all have a clock and outside temp gauge in our cars, but sure would be nice to see it operating again.

But would I miss it, probably not.

It's amazing how you get use to something. Look at it all the time...get it TIME

Do you happen to know the model of this sign? Is it controlled by a computer indoors or stand alone outside?

my vote is no. I never noticed. I watched drivers ahead

Get rid of it. Not worth the expense for you guys. Brandon will survive without it and others won't even notice its gone.

I did look at it every time I drove by but really, if it's too much of an expense to repair or replace, don't bother with it.

...are in the works. The very first we fixed it some components were replaced but the time still randomly skipped ahead. You know how it goes... When you send to the repair people it performed the way it should. This is the pattern of how repair attempts have gone. So we feel that this will be the final attempt at repair. The repair company is in BC through a local company as agent and they will be replacing a couple of less expensive pieces guessing at what it might be.

I wouldn't fix it. It would be quite costly. Ppl have time in their vehicles that should be sufficient. Cars nowadays show outside temperature anywy.
