I was out and about this morning and noticed a lot of drivers had compromised visibility. It was obvious they had just jumped in and used their wipers to clean the windshield and not worried about the rest. Please, please clean off your cars, including hoods and roofs as snow slides down or blows up to decrease visibility. It might help avoid an accident.

My biggest pet peeve in history! It doesn't take that much effort or time and could be a life saver. If your back lights or headlights alone are covered ..we can't see you in the darker hours..just my lil Ole opinion though

The back window is what gets me... how can you see what's behind you or properly shoulder check with a back window covered in snow? The answer is you don't... those are the people who just change lanes whenever and expect the rest of us to accommodate.

Seeing this a lot from those who drive SUV's, vans and trucks. They do make snow brushes that you can extend the handle so you can get the snow off the roofs!

I see an excellent opportunity for the police to make a real dent in unsafe behavior like having snow on the windows!  
They could do once or twice a year, just stand on a street corner, and look for poorly cleaned cars, call down the road to another officer to pull over the bad ones, and give warnings, or tickets depending on the attitude of the driver.  
 
They do exactly this on occasion for seatbelts and speeding, and that's wayy less dangerous overall than what's been happening following any snowfall event here in Brandon!

I really wish our police had time to do more blitzes like this.  
 
The not clearing of windows, the rolling through stop signs (oh, boo hoo, I won't be able to get started again if I come to a complete stop), the not signalling and pulling across into the incorrect lanes right in front of oncoming traffic....the list goes on.  
 
Just so many inconsiderate and potentially dangerous driving behaviors in this city that need to be really ticketed until some people get the hint.

I always walk around my car with the snow brush and brush off any snow on windows, mirrors, roof, hood, license plates and head/tail lights. It only takes a minute and you can let your car warm up while you do it!
