What to do with plastic shopping bags?

Does anyone know of a place where a person could take in plastic shopping bags for recycling? Sometimes grocery stores have a bin to collect these, but I can't recall seeing any in Brandon, and if not, what could you do to get rid of an excessive amount of them as it would be a shame to send them to landfill (I have too many to reasonably use up). Thanks!

MCC Thrift Store on Pacific and also Nearly New Shop on 9th. They always gladly receive them.

them to clean up my backyard of the dog do, and the rest I take to sobeys because they have a bin.

Bring a handful next time you go grocery shopping and reuse them and save .05 for each bag. I think superstore gives you extra points for bringing your own bags.

How many bags do you think Walmart uses in one day? I reuse them if they don't have holes in the bottom, which they almost always do. I will check this morning to see if Walmart has a recycle bin, i have never noticed one.

Might take them & use them for children's dirty clothes or when changing dirty diapers so it doesn't stink up the room.
