I hurt myself at work yesterday. I slipped and fell on the ice and wound up having a coworker taking me to the E.R.  
 
Just wanted to thank the folks in the waiting room, who in spite of pain from their slips and falls, managed to help by cheering everyone up. We got to know each other, we laughed together in between moans, and had a reasonably good time. We were all there for 3-4 hours, for me it was 8 or more, but the waiting room was standing room only. There was a line up outsided the xray de-artment and the staff was super swamped. considering how hard the staff was working, they did an awesome job. The nurses and everyone else were just going to beat the band. So huge kudos to them too, because in amidst the chaos, they managed to get my issues dealt with.  
 
Just wanted to share and let people know you can still make the best of a bad situation and appreciate what you have. Yesterday, it was the people around us and my amazing wife that made things so much better.
