Victoria at this time too. Wonder what was up?

Still no report on what was going on? Pretty sure every cop car in brandon was heading in that direction.

I got on scene a few minutes after they ripped past me at 26th and Victoria. Multiple marked, unmarked, and undercover units there. At least one officer had their shot gun out and ready. I saw at least 1 person being put into the back of a cruiser. I have no idea what happened but it seemed EXTREMELY high risk. It was a tense feeling scene.

Sounds pretty serious. Wonder if we will ever hear the real story of what was going on....

I would image there will be something in the Brandon Police Services media release tomorrow morning.

Disturbance/Report of Firearm  
 
At 5:20 pm on Thursday afternoon, a call was received reporting a male in the parking lot of a hotel in the 3500 block of Victoria Ave with a gun. Police attended and multiple vehicles were observed rapidly leaving the parking lot. One male was located at the scene with a vehicle that matched the description given in the initial complaint. Investigation revealed that a group of youths had gathered at the parking lot for a fight between two unknown combatants. One of the youths was thought to have had a pellet gun which led to the call to police. No gun was actually observed nor was anyone threatened with a weapon.  
 
Police later confirmed a pellet gun was present in a vehicle, however was not used in the commission of any offence. No complaints have been received from this incident.

It's no joke to carry any kind of gun in public anymore.
