A little over a year ago there was a discussion on here about a portion of the Western Motel being sold and possibility of an Original Joes restaurant going in where the Western Motel sits on 18th Street. At the time Shindico had submitted a variance application to the City of Brandon and im not sure if it ever got approved. But now I notice that the Western Motel is back up for sale and both buildings are now for sale. So Im guessing the whole deal fell through and Original Joes isn't coming to Brandon?

I'd buy it fix it up keep it as hotel I think could be filled up quick if it was nice rooms  

I took a quick look at the links above. It seems that just not the two original buildings I thought were/was for sale earlier but now the third main building.  
 
My thoughts were at that time the main hotel would still run with the secondary building(s) gone.  
 
It seems the whole kit and kaboodle is for sale but in three separate offerings.  
 
I liked the original idea best. I wonder if real estate politics screwed things up. Maybe City Hall red tape?  
 
The location is prime.
